My Story

From the Front Lines of Justice to Your Advocate

I grew up in Florida in a family dedicated to service. My father and both of my grandfathers were police officers, and my mother was a nurse. Service, strength, and compassion were instilled in me from the start.

In 1997, I began my law enforcement career as a road deputy with the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office, working the midnight shift while putting myself through college. I earned a degree in criminology with a specialization in law enforcement administration and human resource management. After four years of service, including a year as an investigator, I chose to pursue law school at the University of Florida.

Upon graduating in 2003, I began serving as an Assistant State Attorney. For 13 years, I prosecuted cases and led with authority, ultimately serving 11 years as the Felony Division Chief for Gilchrist County. I have also defended clients in jury trials in both State and Federal Court. In 2019, I returned to the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office to complete my public service career where it began, serving as Undersheriff and Legal Advisor until my retirement at the end of 2025.

Now, I bring decades of courtroom command and law enforcement leadership into private practice. My mission is clear: to protect rights, resolve conflicts, and restore justice. I stand as a commanding advocate who blends strength with compassion, ensuring every client receives direct, honest, and relentless representation.

I have lived justice from every angle—as a deputy, prosecutor, defense attorney, and undersheriff. Today, I stand ready to fight for you.
